Understand the illegitimacy of our current constitutional state of affairs by watching this series on the Glorious Revolution from 'The Real Magna Carta 1215' channel. Damien Lepts and I have been working through the real history of this period that had largely been hidden until exposure in the 50s/60s and then the 1980s at the 300th anniversary. Although not always rosy, up until 1688/9 the Constitution of England was still based on Natural Justice principles but the Bill of Rights was illegitimate.

The Real Magna Carta 1215 presents another 17th century instalment of the Glorious Revolution. This is chapter two of part four, join Will and myself as we continue to discuss the events of 1688/89. Lots to discuss, including some very questionable moves from both Parliament and William of Orange leading up to the convention. We also dive into the debate on abdication and vacancy.
