Part 2 goes into the nature of the human psyche and demonstrates that although conscience is an important path of reason for coming to recognise right and wrong behaviour, it is not enough without the necessary internal work

The problems I have described regarding immorality and order-following persist - in the police and the public more generally, and the solutions to those problems are timeless. In this essay I signpost to the fundamental knowledge which must be gained by all of us if we are to evolve.
